The toolkit is designed to efficiently generate interface surfaces between continuum and non-continuum regions. Typical user-in-the-loop processes to interface between a continuum region and rarefied region can be quite tedious and often involve over-simplifications that lead to inaccurate and inefficient simulations.
The AEGIS Toolkit takes a no compromise approach to the hybrid interfacing process through automation and use of advanced tools and is quite robust at handling complex shapes and flow features.
